I’m a big fan of Twitter because this social platform has brought so many interesting things. In particular, the many applications based on this social platform, makes Twitter.com a very userfriendly and valuable social platform. I recently found a great Twitter gadget; Tweetbook.
It will let you create a diary of your own Twitter account in PDF-format that contains all tweets ranked by date (ascending). As an example I used our Twitter account @recruitmentjob. The result of the Tweetbook tool is 130 pages with 3400 short messages and references to the source. The product of one year micro-blogging. What a great tool! Now I hear you thinking: “Why do I want a (Recruitmentjob) Tweetbook?”
Well, did you ever want to find a particular tweet? If you wanted to browse to the first Tweet on @recruitmentjob on Twitter.com, you’ll need to click the ‘More‘ button 170 times. Also, to my big frustration, searching via http://search.twitter.com/advanced for a Tweet often doesn’t bring the desired result. Searching or browsing via such a reference book becomes very useful. And there are surely more fun and creative applications for this tool.
