Agencies are increasingly fighting for the best digital talent. But these days front-end developers are extremely hard to find. There are not many out there. After trying the traditional recruitment advertising the Danish agency Uncle came up with a more creative way to recruit a front-end developer.
They sponsored a team of the best Code Warrior players who promoted the website uncle.bk/developer by changing the name of the gamer and digital posters with links to the site. They got more than 50 applications in the first week and hired their new front-end developer. Now that’s a great way of creative media use of Microsoft Xbox In-game advertising!
